Bobby Stucky “By The Glass” Takeover with Benvenusa Imports – Friday, May 8, 2026

Soby’s Hosts Master Sommelier Bobby Stucky for a “By The Glass” Takeover with Benvenusa Imports – Friday, May 8th – The Bar at Soby’s

Soby’s is honored to host an exceptional evening with James Beard Award–winning restaurateur and Master Sommelier Bobby Stuckey.

Join us Friday, May 8th, for this one-night-only experience as Bobby takes to the dining room floor, sharing his passion firsthand, with a special by-the-glass selection featuring wines exclusively from the Benvenusa portfolio.

As co-founder of the Michelin-starred Frasca Food and Wine in Boulder, Colorado, as well as Scarpetta Wines and the newly launched Italian importer Benvenusa, Bobby has long been a leading voice in Italian wine and hospitality.

This is a rare opportunity to explore a collection of deeply expressive, small-production wines sourced from some of Italy’s most compelling micro-producers. We are proud to showcase these heartfelt, artisanal wines and to welcome Bobby for an intimate and memorable evening. Don’t miss the chance to meet him and experience these limited, highly allocated selections.

More on Benvenusa:

Founded by Bobby Stuckey MS and Lachlan Mackinnon-Patterson, Benvenusa is the culmination of over two decades of partnership, beginning with the iconic Frasca Food and Wine. Their enduring connection to Friuli Venezia Giulia shaped through years of travel, study, and the creation of Scarpetta Wines in 2007 inspired a deeper commitment to the region’s producers.

Benvenusa was created in 2023 to champion small, largely undiscovered Italian wineries, many of which are being imported into the United States for the first time. These producers embody what has always drawn Bobby and Lachlan to Friuli: authenticity, craftsmanship, and a distinct sense of place.

The portfolio has since expanded beyond Friuli Venezia Giulia to include like-minded producers from Tuscany, Sicily, Sardinia, Slovenia and Piedmont. Each winery farms fewer than 10 hectares, harvests by hand, and is driven by a commitment to producing thoughtful, compelling wines that reflect the next generation of their regions.”
